Title: ETL Informatica Lead with Microsoft Fabric
Location: Worcester, MA (Hybrid- Local candidate only)
Duration: 15 months contract
Overview:
Client is seeking a Technical Informatica ETL Lead who will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics initiatives. This hybrid role requires the team to be on-site 2 days per week.
- This role coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of modern data platforms, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Fabric and data governance using Microsoft Purview.
- Should have expertise in delivering projects involving EDW modernization, cloud data platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Partner with client on Fabric/Purview integration & implementation
- Participate in implementation and integration of Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., OneLake, Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Science, Power BI).
- Communicating with Customer on daily/weekly/need basis to participate in the strategic discussions.
- Lead the team of 10 - 20 associates
- Knowledge of issue management and risk management, Scope management and resource management.
- Self-motivated with an ability to learn and work on project.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Enterprise Data Warehouse and analytics initiatives, from initiation through closure.
- Drafting proposals, providing effort estimations, and participating in client presentations
- Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.
- Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed solutions on Data Governance & Management.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts, including data modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and its role in modern data architectures.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance, cataloging, and compliance.
- Understanding of Azure data services and BI ecosystems (e.g., Power BI).
- Leverage Fabric/Purview implementation experience to lead the delivery in the engagement
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years of hands-on large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse or analytics initiatives.
- 5 years of technical lead experience, including large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse or analytics initiatives.
- 5 years experience with Informatica ETL
- 4 years hands on with Azure cloud-based data platform projects.
- 2 years with Microsoft Fabric and its role in modern data architectures, including Power BI
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
