What are the responsibilities and job description for the Poké chef/ Sushi Chef position at Kashin Japanese Restaurant?
About us
We are looking to hire sushi/poke chef that can both work independently and as a team at the sushi bar.
Candidate is expected to be on time and responsible.
Kashin Japanese Restaurant is a family owned business in Cary, NC.
Responsibilities
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and freshness of food products.
- Food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and assembling sushi ingredients for poke bowls.
- help make sushi rolls.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-Keep work place clean and sweep mop at end of shift.
-Be able to lift up to 50lbs of products onto shelves, lift cooked rice and mix with sushi vinegar.

Hours for lunch and dinner shifts available. Lunch hours 10:30-2pm Dinner hours is 4:30-9:30pm
Previous experience as a sushi chef/ sushi helper a plus.
