What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Field Representative - (Honda)- 2nd Shift position at Kasai North America, Inc?
- The Quality Assurance Field Representative is responsible for the coordination of all product issues between Kasai NA and the assigned customer. He/she acts as an on-site liaison and oversees all efforts to correct nonconformities in product and/or service as improvements in product and/or service. Typical interaction is with the assigned customer personnel and Quality Assurance Engineering and Production Management.
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all product/service issues at the customer site to achieve Top Supplier Status.
- Document all concerns, instructions, requests, etc. relating to the coordination of customer/Kasai improvement efforts.
- Interact with external customers and internal customers.
- Meets quality and quantity levels of assigned work, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
- Coordinate rejected material movement between Kasai NA and assigned customers
- Generate reports, graphs, and charts as needed.
- Oversees data collection and interpretation to coordinate improvement efforts.
- Verify the accuracy of all documentation.
- >Monitor and enforce ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
6. Experience:
- 2 or more years of manufacturing experience.
7. Skills:
- Above average mathematical skills, written skills, and verbal skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
- Computer literate
- Capable of overall professionalism in a business environment
- Capable of using basic measurements devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators and etc.
- >Must have the ability to judge color visually and must pass the Farnsworth - Muncell 100 Hue test yearly & pass test with a minimum score of 50
8. Training Specific to Position:
- Documented training in internal or lead auditing to any of the standards listed above.
9. Other:
Ability to travel for extended periods of time with limited prior notice.
Must be able to work any assigned shift.
