What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff/Cook position at Karsten Golf Club?
Karsten Golf Club is in search of passionate kitchen staff/cooks to complete our culinary team.
Our main area of focus is to provide exceptional service to the Oklahoma State University Men’s and Women’s golf teams, while providing the same experience to the membership.
We offer a complete breakfast service (Friday-Sun), full lunch service (Mon-Sun), and host private events/functions & member based events.
At Karsten, we take pride in producing quality products for every breakfast and lunch patron.
Our goal is to create a home away from home atmosphere through great food and great service.

Line Cook's are responsible for a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
-Gaining a comprehensive understanding of menus & approved recipes
-Providing a consistent and appealing dining experience for our guests
-Daily preparation of menu items & proper plate presentation
-Preparation and organization of assigned stations to include pre-shift set up, maintenance during each shift & cleaning at the conclusion of each shift
-Proper storage and handling of food, as well as dating & labeling of food (FIFO)
-Rotating through various stations within the kitchen
-Keeping kitchen and other areas of the clubhouse cleaned and organized.
Requirements:
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Able to produce under pressure while maintaining quality standards
-Good Positive Attitude
-Ability to follow direction and work under minimal supervision at times from management
-Must be a team player and cooperate effectively with other staff member and supervisors
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / Internship / Seasonal
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour depending on experience
