Job Breakdown
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with 4-6 years of agency experience and background working on travel & tourism and/or restaurant brands. The Senior Account Manager manages multiple relationships with clients, is the face of day-to-day communication, and sets expectations for project delivery. This position marks the transition into a more senior role within the Account Service function, elevating beyond the management of the account to more comprehensive strategic planning and development. The Senior Account Manager helps to clarify and develop project objectives, identify challenges, and guide the creation of strategies and metrics for success.
- Build a strong relationship with clients rooted in trust, honesty, strategic prowess, thoughtful problem-solving, and the ability to integrate creative and media ideas.
- Lead the agency and client teams by inspiring positive outcomes through an understanding of client goals, measurement, and opportunities
- Lead and work effectively with a variety of internal disciplines and business groups, including Account Management, Creative, Production, Media, and Technology teams.
- Demonstrate confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of the agency team
- Balance the dual expectations of your clients and the agency
- Assist the Account Supervisor/Director with strategic planning, scopes of work, annual contacts, etc.
- Ensure operational excellence and that relevant information is communicated and translated into specific actions.
- Maintain and grow knowledge of the client’s business (objectives, risks, and strategies) and its marketing goals, applying them to the direction of projects.
- Identify opportunities for incremental growth and proactive thought leadership.
- Financial management responsibilities include writing and reviewing SOWs, billing for client(s) managed, and reviewing monthly billing spreadsheets with clients
- Manages up and knows when to escalate internal and/or client concerns.
- Mentor and support the career development of junior team members.
Requirements:
- This role is based in Denver and will be a hybrid in-person and remote work environment
- Previous experience in an advertising agency account service role with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the Advertising Industry, with a minimum of 2 years in tourism and/or QSR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Proven track record for results, ROI, and business impact
- Committed to building strategic plans, partnerships, and outcomes
- Deep understanding of brand marketing and communications planning, and execution
- Ability to lead and integrate internal and external teams
- Dedicated to client service and nurturing the Client-Agency relationship
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Persuasive presenter and leader
- Leads and partners with Agency project management, creative, media, technology, and analytics teams to deliver cohesive, strategic, and effective presentations, plans, and ideas

Salary Range: This is an exempt role with a salary range of $70,000 - $75,000
