Job Summary
As a Land Equipment Operator for the Company, you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of heavy machinery, vehicles, and production equipment used in land-based and offshore production operations. The role supports daily production activities by performing equipment inspections, assisting with mobilization and basic maintenance tasks, and ensuring full compliance with operating procedures, HSE requirements, and applicable safety standards. Duties
- Operate heavy machinery, vehicles, and production equipment safely and efficiently in support of land-based and offshore production operations.
- Conduct pre-start, routine, and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe operating condition and report any defects or abnormalities.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, minor adjustments, cleaning, and component replacements in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with the mobilization, demobilization, and setup of equipment at job sites.
- Support daily production activities by coordinating with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other operational personnel.
- Strictly adhere to all Company operating procedures, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, and applicable regulatory and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inspection logs, maintenance records, and operational reports as required.
- Identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions, take appropriate corrective action, and report concerns in a timely manner.
- Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and emergency drills as required.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained around equipment and work areas to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with additional operational or maintenance duties as assigned to support production objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or production equipment preferred.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, construction, or industrial environments is an asset.
