Warehouse Associate - Pre-Production

Karlsburger Foods is seeking a full time PRE-PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE. This role will work at our Corporate Headquarters located in Monticello, MN, and report directly to the Pre-Production Supervisor. Hours would be 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Daily planning in a somewhat fast past and volatile environment.

· Problem solve the daily logistics.

· Working closely with production and warehouse staff.

· Pulling and staging materials for production.

· Monitor ingredient Temperatures

· Print Labels for materials and production.

· Putting away excess materials.

· Maintaining SQF requirements for ingredient segregation (i.e., organics and allergens).

· Follow all company SQF policies.

· Maintain sanitation programs and procedures.

· Provide support to Warehouse Associates as needed.

· Provide support to the Warehouse Manager as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

· Ability to write simple correspondences.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. --Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Forklift certified

· Knowledge of HACCP, USDA policies and procedures.

· Food safety training and experience.
