Position Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant at our clinic, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and providing outstanding care to our patients. This position requires administrative duties, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and multi-tasking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Manage patient flow and ensure minimal wait times.
- Schedule patient appointments, confirming details and handling cancellations or rescheduling.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct patients to the appropriate staff members.
- Check patients out, collect payments and provide receipts.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with general office administration tasks, such as filing and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Keen interest and/or experience in functional or integrative medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a steady-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems a plus.
