Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiovascular health, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations.
- Utilize advanced techniques in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide telemetry support during procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physiological knowledge and medical terminology.
- Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Perform sonography as required for diagnostic evaluations, ensuring accurate imaging results.
- Assist in the operation of the cath lab, providing support during interventional procedures while adhering to established protocols.
- Engage in continuous education regarding anatomy knowledge, emergency medicine practices, and Level I or Level II trauma center experiences to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and telemetry systems.
- Previous experience working in a cath lab or Level II trauma center is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in emergency situations while maintaining a focus on patient care.
