Bookkeeper

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and capable of managing multiple client accounts with precision and efficiency. Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage client books using QuickBooks Online and Accounting CS
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.)
• Record journal entries and adjust accounts as needed
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Collaborate with CPAs for tax preparation and financial reporting
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
• Fluent in Spanish (required)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a public accounting or CPA firm environment
• QuickBooks Online certification
• Experience with payroll and sales tax filings
