Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Irvine, CA, for a Senior Corporate Accountant. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage general ledger activities. They will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining internal controls, assisting in audits, and providing insights for financial planning. Additional responsibilities include managing month-end close processes, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team in achieving organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
- Expertise in general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
- CPA designation or progress towards its completion is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a similar industry
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
