Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Irvine, CA, for a Senior Corporate Accountant. The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks will include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, managing audits, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial operations. Additionally, the role involves process improvement and assisting with strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in General Ledger Management, Financial Reporting, and Financial Statement Preparation
- Experience with Account Reconciliation, Auditing, and Tax Compliance
- Strong skills in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Expertise in the use of Accounting Software, ERP Systems, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- CPA certification is preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, including corporate or public accounting
- Familiarity with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
