About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll transition from the intensity of public accounting into a high-impact position with greater ownership, visibility to leadership, and opportunities to influence business decisions. What You'll Do:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports
- Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls while identifying process improvement opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, drawing on your public accounting leadership experience
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required); Master’s or CPA strongly preferred
- CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA with exam progress)
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for public accounting background
- Solid technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you'll interact regularly with leadership and team members
