Job Duties:
- Coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of products, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity. Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted.
- Equipment- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling the equipment.
- Scheduling - Participate in establishing work schedules. Ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
- Storage- Maintain WMS system and ensure the optimal utilization of space.
- Safety, Sanitation, and Security - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Records - Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inventory - Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Lead.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
WORK SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri/ 1st shift - 8am - 5pm
COMPENSATION: Up to $18.00/hour Health/Dental/Vision benefits after passing three-month probation period. 401(k) available after first year.
