We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands 4x from $250MM to $1 B in the next 4 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A. To ensure we're steady on that path, we created a new position, Accounts Receivable-Deductions Specialist, who will be an important member of the finance team during this growth.
This is an IN-Office position that could lend itself to a hybrid schedule--supporting both Kar's Nuts in Madison Heights and Sanders Candy in Clinton Township, MI.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Research and resolve client deductions including but not limited to promotional discounts, pricing, shipping claims, rebates, freight, product returns, among others
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure planned volume and spend is accurately represented in the Vividly System
- Develop and maintain the deduction dispute process
- Process all accounts receivable accounts with vendors
- Support timely and accurate data entry and maintenance of trade promotions in Vividly
- Develop a reporting toolkit/scorecard for the assessment of trade KPIs
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for trade GL Accounts
- Manage outsourced resources assisting with validating trade deductions
- Build and maintain solid business relationships with internal and external partners
- 5 years of relevant Trade spend Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
- Trade Management System experience is required; knowledge of Vividly Trade Spend Management Solution is a benefit
- Experience with ERP systems is required; SAP, Sage, Plex is a plus
- Experience with Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, Index, etc.) required
- Prior experience with CPG is required; beverage industry is a plus
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to leverage technology for efficient data gathering and analysis; comfortable with digesting large sets of data and preparing analysis
- Ability to manage deadlines, pivot and prioritize work, and accurately process data under time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Instrumental in developing standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving TPM efficiencies to meet current and future business needs
- Standing, sitting, walking, etc. Physical demand consistent with an office, professional role.
