An established, Australian-owned advisory firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Brisbane team. Renowned for delivering independent, commercially sharp advice, the practice partners with leading developers, government bodies, funds and private clients across a wide spectrum of sectors.
With a strong and consistent pipeline of work, you’ll gain exposure to high-quality projects across commercial, residential, health, education and infrastructure, building a well-rounded portfolio while working alongside experienced professionals who will support your development.
This role is ideal for a motivated early-career QS who wants more responsibility, greater client exposure, and a clear pathway toward senior roles within a stable, growing consultancy.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Delivering pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple projects
• Preparing cost plans, estimates, tender documentation and financial reports
• Monitoring budgets, variations and financial performance
• Coordinating with clients, design teams and contractors
• Providing procurement advice and supporting contract administration
• Contributing to feasibility studies and value engineering initiatives
• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
What You’ll Bring
• 2–3 years’ experience in a PQS or consultancy environment in Australia
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
• Strong cost planning, estimating and reporting capability
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident communication and client-facing ability
• Proactive mindset and genuine ambition to grow your career
