Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute projects.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
- Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on construction sites or during renovation projects while following electrical safety procedures.
- Install and maintain low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical systems for automation and control purposes.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for wiring, framing carpentry, conduit bending, and other installation tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems by analyzing schematics, schematics reading, and system diagnostics to restore functionality promptly.
Skills
- Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical systems.
- Proven ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading skills essential for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations including NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in diagnosing issues within high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 standards for safe electrical work practices in various environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices.
- Construction site experience with renovation projects or new installations in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to industrial electrical wiring and schematics reading.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems.
- Knowledge of high-voltage wiring procedures combined with safety procedures for working on energized equipment.
- Basic handyman skills including framing carpentry or general construction experience are a plus for versatile project support.
