What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal SME Contracting position at Kapili Services, LLC?
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Principal SME Contracting to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides legal review/contract award support to Natick contracting in support of the APM for Next Generation Information & Awareness.
Reviews Other Transaction Agreements (OTA) is critical.
Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
Evaluates requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.
Assists in arbitration of claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.
Assists in analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Must have a Bachelors degree.
Masters degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 16 years of experience.
Expert knowledge of Other Transaction Agreements (OTA).
Requires a knowledge of pre-award and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process from the description of the requirements through contract delivery.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized).
Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance.
