Power of Humans, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Summer 2026 Volunteer Team supporting children and teens who have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences.
Our programs—including those hosted in Campbellsport, WI (Camp Reunite, Camp Hometown Heroes and other partner camps)—create a safe, supportive, and joy-filled environment where young people can heal, build confidence, and experience connection.
💙 Volunteer Opportunities
We offer a variety of volunteer roles to match your skills and interests. Opportunities may include:
- Camp Counselors / Youth Mentors – Work directly with campers to support activities, relationships, and daily experiences
- Health Center Support – Assist with basic health check-ins, organization, and camper wellness (licensed professionals encouraged)
- Kitchen Support – Help prepare, serve, and clean up meals while creating a welcoming dining experience
- Housekeeping Support – Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable camp spaces for campers and staff
⭐ What You’ll Do
Depending on your role, volunteers may:
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment
- Support daily camp operations and activities
- Encourage camper participation, teamwork, and confidence-building
- Assist staff in maintaining health, safety, and organization standards
- Serve as a positive role model and supportive presence for youth
- Work collaboratively with staff and fellow volunteers to ensure a meaningful experience

✅ Volunteer Requirements
To ensure the safety and well-being of all campers, staff, and volunteers, individuals selected for the Summer 2026 Volunteer Team will be asked to:
- Review and agree to the Power of Humans Volunteer Handbook, including policies on safety, conduct, and trauma-informed care
- Complete a criminal background check and sex offender registry screening in accordance with the National Camp Association
- Participate in required training and orientation prior to volunteering
- Follow all program guidelines designed to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every child
