Job Description:
The client is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives focused on modernizing legacy applications and building scalable data platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering and business teams to drive complex technical programs from planning through execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional technical programs and software modernization initiatives
- Coordinate project execution across engineering and business teams
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Drive Agile delivery processes and release planning
- Collaborate with engineering teams on software architecture and feature delivery
- Define and improve execution processes and engineering best practices
- Support both legacy platform maintenance and future product planning
- Gather requirements and coordinate deployment activities
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with engineering teams
- Strong technical program management experience
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and release schedules
- Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience
- Experience gathering requirements and reviewing functional/test specifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of software architecture concepts
- Experience with domain-driven design, test-driven development, and behavior-driven development
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
