The Prevention Specialist provides support and implementation of
prevention programming in Douglas County, with a focus on substance use

acts as a liaison between schools, parents, and community partners and

**Essential Functions**
- Facilitates evidence-based training related to substance misuse
community partners.
- Presents information to community groups, churches,
mental health promotion.
- Supports positive student and school relations for the purpose of

- Manages the coordination and subject content matter during the
- Tracks and manages the components required for project reporting.
- Supports the Douglas County Youth Empowerment and Prevention (YEP)
- Assists in the coordination of Engage Douglas County meetings
- Implements relevant prevention initiatives, including educating
