Position Description
Inspects, troubleshoots and repairs helicopter and airplane airframes in
order to ensure airworthiness by conducting the task in an efficient and

responsibilities are reviewed by the Federal Aviation Administration
during random inspections for compliance with all procedures and
regulations. Airframe work includes major and minor inspection,
alterations and repairs. Major components of the airframe are
disassembled, repaired, and reassembled including wings, fuselage,
empennage, vertical stabilizers, horizontal stabilizers, landing gear,
flight controls, instruments, hydraulic systems, electrical systems,
mechanical linkages, fuel systems, and structural components. Work is
reviewed by the supervisor for compliance with FAA regulations and KHP
procedures on an as needed basis.

with FAA Regulations and Agency Policies. Requests aviation parts and
supplies to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory on all stock
items to ensure prompt repairs for operational readiness. Tasks are
reviewed by the FAA during random inspections for compliance with all
procedures and regulations annually. Work is reviewed by the supervisor
for compliance with FAA regulations and KHP procedures on an as needed
basis.
