Job Function: The Research Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of cardiac clinical trials, informed consent, data collection, documentation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and a passion for advancing cardiovascular care through research.
Job Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) – current and active license required.
- Prior experience in clinical research or cardiology preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and research integrity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all phases of assigned cardiac research studies.
- Screen, recruit, and enroll eligible patients according to study protocols.
- Collect, document, and report study data accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, research sponsors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient safety and report adverse events as required.
- Maintain study-related documentation and assist with audits or monitoring visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
