Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Cardiology & Pulmonology (Full-Time)
We are seeking two dedicated, full-time Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join our growing team—one specialized in Cardiology and one in Pulmonology. These dynamic roles offer a blend of clinic practice, outreach travel, and rounding on hospital patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Comprehensive Care: Manage patient panels in the main office and perform inpatient rounding (including H&Ps, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries).
- Community Outreach: Travel to regional outreach clinics to provide care (convenient team carpooling departs around 6:00 AM on travel days).
- Collaborative Inpatient Coverage: Core office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Daily rounding on hospital patients is completed efficiently around your clinic schedule.
On-Call Expectations (Cardiology Specific):
- Rotational Schedule: 1-week blocks (Monday to Sunday) covering Ascension Via Christi St. Francis and our specialized heart hospital.
- Balanced Workload: Enjoy an abbreviated clinic schedule during your on-call weeks to ensure high-quality patient care and manageable pacing.
- Dedicated Night Support: Cross-coverage is provided by a dedicated night APP team from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, seven days a week, protecting your work-life balance.
