Monitors the Web and Fax queues for reports of children in need of care
or suspected child or adult abuse/neglect/exploitation, reviews all
information provided by the reporter, completes a priority assessment to
determine the urgency of the report, and documents the priority level by
using the designated procedure.
Handling inbound calls from customers, listening to customers needs or
issues regarding the reporting process. Providing helpful solutions to
their problems or requests for notification letters. Provide accurate
answers to their queries and concerns. De-escalating situations
involving dissatisfied caller, offering patience, assistance, and
support. Guide callers through troubleshooting and navigating the
hotline website.
Maintains databases concerning internal and external entities that must
receive notification of reports received by KPRC, manually sends reports
to entities that must receive notification of reports received by KPRC,
manually sends letters to reporters that have requested notification of
reports made to KPRC, and maintains documentation of requests made and
completed by reporters who want letters sent regarding reports made to
KPRC.
Maintaining database records to ensure accuracy of participant records.
Assists with KIPS data cleanup by following a step-by-step guide that
eliminates duplicate people records.
Attend trainings, conferences with supervisor and unit meetings. Assist
in preparing training packets for new and existing staff. Complete
additional projects, or assignments and assist in training new staff as
requested by supervisor. Completes other administrative duties upon
request.
