Duties

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments or procedures.
• Review and interpret medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies or issues related to coverage.
• Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient patient flow.
• Document all verification activities accurately in the patient management system.
• Provide support in the coding process, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of insurance verification processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance representatives.
