We’re seeking a full-time Hospital Insurance Verification Specialist to work on-site Mondays-Fridays; 9am-6pm.
Our Hospital Insurance Verification Specialists are responsible for verification and pre-certification notification and authorization of all admissions and/or outpatient visits. Contact patients’ employer and/or insurance company to verify coverage, and benefits, obtain benefit-level, patient liability, billing address.
Must be able to project a professional, pleasant image while interacting with a variety of personalities and cultures. Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions. Should have strong communication and customer service skills and respect for confidentiality. Must have the ability to plan, prioritize and complete tasks under stress with frequent interruptions. Must be able to multi-task and possess strong attention to detail.

Experience:
- Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Knowledge of procedure authorization preferred
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
