Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluates the impact of emerging technology and business trends.
- Drives innovation by prioritizing opportunities based on significant business impact.
- Delivers impactful roadmaps that define strategy and improve integration between infrastructure, applications, data and processes.
- Lead enterprise critical innovation projects that require extensive knowledge of advanced techniques in multiple technical disciplines.
- Transforms business requirements into technical architecture requirements, and designs architectures which are scalable, robust, and manageable.
- Provides technical guidance or business process expertise, technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Determines the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or Physical Science
- 9 or more years of relevant experience while demonstrating an increasing progression of responsibilities including demonstrated work in enterprise architecture, and team leadership
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to work on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- 4 years of experience with enterprise application portfolios (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), IT Service Management (ITSM), low-code platforms, and custom applications) and modernization paths
- 4 years of experience designing and implementing API‑first architectures that enable scalable, reusable integrations and reduce enterprise-wide coupling.
- Experience with application architecture design across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
