Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee dealership financial transactions using Dealertrack and other automotive software systems.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
- Develop financial strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and provide guidance to finance and accounting staff.
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial management role in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with Dealertrack Automotive Software is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and dealership financial processes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
