- Night Shift Hours: 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. NO ON CALL!
- Ability to work six (6) shifts within the assigned eight (8) week work schedule
- Ability to work one (1) major and (1) minor holiday as defined by Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care
- Evening and Weekend Pay Differential.
- Eight (8) week schedule posted in advance.
- 24/7 support from our full time Board Certified physicians and APRN's, Chaplains and Social Workers.
Position Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary hospice team in providing high quality, expert care to our seriously ill patients. Our Inpatient Nurses are a vital part of our hospice team and responsible for providing comfort, care, support and education to our patients and their loved ones.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:
- Valid, unencumbered Missouri LPN or compact license to include Missouri
- Minimum of one year experience in caring for hospice patients is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others; and to prepare and present information in oral and written formats
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines; must schedule and manage time effectively
- CPR certification required
