Position Description:
In coordination with the Director of Marketing and Business Development, creates a plan to identify, qualify and build relationships with key referral sources from Long Term Care (LTC) facilities, Assisted Living (AL) facilities, physician practices ( Internal Medicine, Family Practice and other specialities), and hospitals in a given territory to grow Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care's (KCH&PC's) business. Collaborates closely with the Hospital Clinical Liaison to facilitate patient transition into Long Term Care.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Must hold an active, unencumbered, RN license in Kansas and Missouri.
- Two (2) years relevant Nursing or related Healthcare experience required;
- Hospice experience preferred. ICU or CCU level critical thinking skills preferred.
- Understanding of basic Marketing and Sales Principles preferred.
- Prior relevant work experience in Healthcare Sales and/or Marketing or, essential/specialized training preferred.
- Understanding of, and passion for, the Hospice philosophy of care required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; Working knowledge of Google Suite preferred.
