SERVERS AND KITCHEN STAFF

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Server to join our dynamic food service team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a memorable experience for every guest. Whether taking orders, preparing simple food items, or managing the cash register, your positive attitude and multitasking skills will keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Verona POS.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and retail math.
• Prepare basic food items with attention to quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards, including simple food preparation and food handling tasks.
• Upsell menu items to increase sales by suggesting popular or complementary products in a friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables, cleaning counters, and ensuring proper food sanitation practices are followed.
• Assist with food delivery to tables or takeout orders while providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep work if needed and ensure all food is served in compliance with health regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining high standards of service.

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Verona POS is a plus.
• Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or retail math enhances your ability to succeed here.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent customer service abilities will help you excel in this role.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions are essential.
• Previous Japanese restaurant experience will give you an advantage in understanding fast-paced service dynamics.
