Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer z/OS
Location: Bethesda , MD (2-3 Days / Week Hybrid)
Duration:12 Months
Experience: 5-10 Years
Required Experience:
- 10 years performing general z/OS systems programming
- 5 years performing installation, maintenance, configuration, and support of a wide range of IBM, Broadcom, BMC, and other ISV products
- 3 years mainframe hardware configuration and network configuration/management
- 3 years z/OSMF customization and usage.
- Perform various z/OS systems programming tasks
Desired Experience:
- Coupling Facility, SYSPLEX, and Structures
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Storage (DASD and virtual tape) management
- Assembler and REXX programing.
Other Requirements:
- Inclusion in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support
- Perform analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Update and create system documentation, as necessary.
