Overview:
Client is building a greenfield SAP Center of Excellence (COE) after a recent SAP system carve-out. This is a high-ownership role for a senior SAP professional to lead architecture, governance, and production support in a global delivery model. Looking for candidates who can operate as a Lead Architect Hands-on SME.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as SAP COE Lead and primary interface with business stakeholders
- Own end-to-end SAP support (AMS) and system stability
- Manage full lifecycle: Incident Problem Change Release Production Support
- Drive solution design, architecture governance, and design approvals
- Review and validate project designs, enhancements, and integrations
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
- Lead and manage offshore teams (APAC / South America)
- Handle production escalations and critical issue resolution
- Enforce SLA, governance, and best practices
Required Skills:
- 15 years of SAP experience (FICO / CO / SD)
- Strong experience in SAP Production Support / AMS
- Proven experience as SAP Lead / Architect / COE Lead
- Hands-on with incident, change, and release management
- Experience in solution design and architecture governance
- Strong experience managing offshore teams and vendors
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have:
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- Experience in SAP carve-out / transformation projects
