Daily Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first impression
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently, coordinating with other locations and team
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify vision and medical insurance benefits
- Check patients in/out and collect payments and copays
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EMR)
- Coordinate patient flow between reception, technicians, and doctor
- Process contact lens orders, payments, and follow-up communication
- Coordinate and process patient referrals, including scheduling with specialists and sending required documents
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in medical, optometry, dental, or healthcare front desk.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and electronic records
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
