What You’ll Do
Teachers at Kangaroo Clubhouse play an important role in guiding children’s intellectual, emotional, and social development. Every day you’ll:
- Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom.
- Support whole-child development through play-based and Christian-centered learning.
- Collaborate with team members to implement curriculum and activities.
- Communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
- Model our Core Values in every interaction.

- Willingness to complete an enhanced background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification (we’ll guide you through it).
- Prior experience in childcare/teaching is preferred, but we will train the right person!
- CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred, but not required.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time (Monday–Friday)
- Schedule: 8 or 10 hour shifts
- Salary: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour (based on experience, education, & location)
- Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- Requirements before first day: Enhanced Background Check & CPR/First Aid Certification
