What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher for 1-3 years old position at Bright Stars Childcare?
We are looking for a teacher for the 1-3 years old classes. This includes potty trainers. You must have experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting. Communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children are also needed. Must be able to pass a background check, get CPR certified and participate in Idaho Stars classes. Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma/GED.
Pay varies depending on experience. It is M-F, ranging from 8 am—6pm. These hours can be flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
-Create lesson plans and be able to work as a team
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week
