Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly, and maintain cleanliness in all service areas to uphold sanitation standards
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Experience in upselling techniques and sales within a hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Host/hostess experience or background in guest services is a plus
