Kane Selection is representing a well-established heavy equipment dealer seeking a Territory Manager to drive equipment rental and machine sales growth across a high-potential West Texas territory.
This is a field-based outside sales role for someone who understands heavy equipment, knows how to build contractor relationships, and is comfortable managing a broad territory with autonomy. Backed by strong inventory, market presence, and continued investment, this is a genuine growth opportunity for the right salesperson.
About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will:
- Manage an assigned territory across Lubbock and the wider North West Texas market
- Sell new and used heavy equipment alongside rental solutions and associated dealer services
- Drive new business with contractors, civil construction firms, industrial accounts, infrastructure customers, and owner-operators
- Grow existing customer relationships while increasing overall market penetration
- Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits, jobsite meetings, prospecting activity, and account development
- Identify opportunities within existing fleet demand and underdeveloped accounts
- Work closely with internal operations, service, parts, and leadership teams to maximise customer support
- Monitor local market activity, competitor movement, and project opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management, forecasting, and territory reporting
- Represent the business professionally across customer meetings, networking, and industry events
Ideal Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven outside sales experience within construction equipment, heavy equipment, equipment rental, industrial equipment, or related capital equipment
- Strong understanding of contractor-led sales environments
- A hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and win new business
- Experience managing a geographically spread territory independently
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation ability, and closing skills
- Product familiarity with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, JCB, Hyundai, CASE, Link-Belt, or similar
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- CRM discipline and organised pipeline management
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory
