We're partnering with a growing technology company seeking a Support Engineer to support Linux-based production environments and work directly with customer engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Linux, application, networking, and SIP-related production issues.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and production fixes.
- Create Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation.
- Work with customer engineering teams to resolve operational issues and discuss system changes.
- Collect and analyze logs, traces, and Wireshark captures.
- Report software issues to development teams.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and production upgrades.
Requirements
- 5 years supporting Linux production environments (Red Hat preferred).
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid networking and SIP knowledge.
- Experience analyzing Wireshark captures and Linux CLI logs.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
