What You’ll Do:
- Support customers with technical questions by phone, email, webchat, and Teams
- Troubleshoot customer applications and recommend the right products and solutions
- Work closely with the sales team on technical questions and customer requirements
- Review customer needs and determine how products can be integrated into existing systems and equipment
- Estimate costs and assist with quotes
- Work with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues during and after implementation
- Promote products and identify opportunities where additional solutions may benefit customers
- Help improve the customer technical support process
- Develop technical support content and resources for customers
- Assist with order entry, quoting, stock checks, invoicing, and other customer service needs when necessary
- Learn and support increasingly complex sensor and controls product lines
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-year technical degree required; 4-year technical degree strongly preferred
- Application experience with industrial sensors and controls required
- Experience working with industrial automation, equipment, or related technologies
- 3 years of technical support experience preferred
- Machine repair or industrial maintenance experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new sensor and controls technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking directly with customers and explaining technical concepts
If you have a background working with industrial sensors, controls, automation, or related equipment and enjoy helping customers solve technical problems, we’d like to hear from you.
