Intern, Ticket Operations & Sales- Kane County Cougars

The Kane County Cougars is looking for a Ticket Operations and Sales Intern to join our team! The Ticket Operations and Sales Intern will support group ticket sales by assisting customers throughout the purchasing process, conducting outbound sales outreach via phone and email, and providing administrative support to group sales representatives. This role also includes general office and game-day responsibilities, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced sports environment while gaining hands-on experience in ticket operations and sales. The internship is slated to start in March and end in September.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist inbound group outing customers throughout the entire group ticket buying process

• Volume outreach via telephone and email to potential ticket package purchasers

• Serve as an administrative liaison for outside group sales representatives

• Miscellaneous duties including, but not limited to, answering the main phone line, pulling the field tarp, etc.

• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Detail-oriented person to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion to work in the sports industry.

• Strong customer service skills with previous customer service experience with phone customers preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including successfully communicating with the public and other employees.

• Computer skills helpful: Google G Suite, Netsuite, TicketReturn Ticketing Software.

• Positive personality and enthusiasm.
