Kanawha Community Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift.
Schedule
- Part-time
- 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- Opportunity to pick up additional as-needed hours during the week
Job Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Assist with transfers and repositioning as needed.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized resident care.
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nurse.
- Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly.
- Assist residents with meals and other daily activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Work cooperatively with nurses, CNAs, and other members of the care team.
Qualifications
- Current Iowa CNA certification or eligibility for certification.
- Dependable and able to work scheduled weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate and respectful when working with residents.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
