Position Overview
Kamps is currently hiring Pallet Repairers, Pallet Builders, and Bandsaw Operators for our first shift production team.
These are fast-paced, hands-on first shift positions that offer the opportunity to transition from hourly training pay to performance-based piece-rate earnings after successful completion of training.
Training Pay: $15.00 per hour
Pay Advancement: Transition to piece-rate pay following the initial training period
What You'll Do
- Repair and rebuild wooden pallets to customer specifications
- Operate bandsaws and other production equipment safely
- Use nail guns, hand tools, and power tools
- Inspect pallets for quality and repair needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet production and quality expectations
What We're Looking For
- Ability to lift 50-80 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work safely around machinery and power tools
- Willingness to learn and be trained
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Construction
- Roofing
- Manufacturing
- Framing
- Landscaping
- Warehouse labor
- General labor or production work
