Summary: We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our plant team. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout our facility. The ideal candidate ensures a safe and hygienic working environment for all employees while upholding high standards of cleanliness in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the plant, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces
- Empty waste containers and dispose of trash and recycling materials in designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist in cleaning production equipment and machinery to ensure product quality
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily tasks
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required while performing cleaning duties
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations related to cleanliness and sanitation
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet cleaning schedules efficiently
