Kammerer Dynamics Inc. (KDi) is seeking a self-motivated Powder Coating Coordinator to be the absolute "go-to" person on our powder line. We don't just need a coater; we need an organized professional who can take ownership of the daily schedule, ensure strict procedures are followed, and lead by example.

This is a hands-on role. You will be planning the daily flow, but you will also be right there with your team—hanging parts, washing, powdering, baking, and down-stacking. If you know how to execute a plan, verify quality, and keep a line running efficiently without sacrificing our high standards, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line Leadership & Scheduling: Act as the primary point of contact for the powder line. Take the daily production schedule, develop an execution plan, and ensure the team hits daily output goals.
• Hands-On Production: Work directly alongside your team to load, hang, wash, powder, bake, and down-stack parts.
• Strict Quality Control: Ensure all procedures and best practices are followed. Actively check the mil thickness of the powder as parts come off the line to guarantee a flawless, high-quality finish.
• Inventory Management: Take ownership of tracking and maintaining powder and line supply inventories so the line never has to stop waiting for materials.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all routine maintenance and troubleshooting on powder coating equipment is completed on schedule to maximize longevity and minimize downtime.
• Process Optimization: Continuously look for ways to eliminate bottlenecks, minimize waiting, and improve the flow of parts through the entire finishing process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in industrial painting/powder coating (2 years preferred).
• Highly organized with a proven ability to work strictly off a schedule and meet daily production requirements.
• Strong understanding of powder coating techniques, mil thickness measurement, and equipment troubleshooting.
• A "lead from the front" mentality with the energy to drive team efficiency and output.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strict commitment to safety protocols.
