We’re hiring After School Group Leaders for our Kamakau Hawaiian Language Immersion Program in Kāneʻohe, where ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi is not a subject—it’s the foundation of everything we do.
In this role, you’ll create a space where keiki can live, play, and grow in Hawaiian language and culture every afternoon. If you’re fluent in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi and passionate about supporting the next generation, this is where you belong.

What You’ll Do
Lead with Purpose
Guide keiki (ages 5–10) through engaging activities—games, crafts, and outdoor play—all through ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi.
Model the Language Daily
Use ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi consistently to create a true immersion environment where students build confidence and fluency.
Support Growth
Help with homework, encourage positive behavior, and create a space where every child feels seen and supported.
Keep Keiki Safe
Use active supervision to maintain a structured, secure, and welcoming environment.
Work as One Team
Collaborate with fellow leaders to create smooth, engaging, and meaningful afternoons.
What We’re Looking For
Fluent in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (required)
Passion for working with children and supporting their growth
Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
18 with a high school diploma or GED
(Student aide roles available for those under 18)Able to reliably commute to Kāneʻohe (Kamakau)
