$18–$21/hour | Flexible Schedule
Your Flexible Substitute Role:
- On-Call Availability: Work weekday afternoons (approx. 1:30 PM–5:30 PM) when a regular Group Leader has a scheduled or unscheduled day off. No late nights, no weekends!
- Active Leadership: When you’re called in, you’ll lead groups of school-age children (ages 5–10) through games, outdoor sports, and arts & crafts.
- Proactive Mentorship: Provide supportive homework assistance and positive behavior guidance, ensuring a consistent and nurturing environment.
- Active Supervision: Maintain a highly supervised, organized, and safe environment—ready to step into any program site and show your team spirit.
- Have a Heart for Kids: You find joy in helping children succeed and stay engaged.
- Are Reliable & Flexible: You are dependable on your scheduled workdays and can quickly adapt to new locations and teams.
- Are a Quick Learner: You can step in, learn the routine, and lead with confidence.
- Are 18 : With a high school diploma or GED (student aide substitute roles available for under 18!).
- Live Locally: You can easily commute to our Waimea after school program.
