Responsibilities
As a Materials Handler at Kalos Services, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling and transportation of materials to and from the warehouse to the jobsite located across the state of Florida.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Loading and unloading construction materials from trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles.
- Organizing and staging materials in designated storage areas to ensure accessibility and efficiency.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Assisting in inventory management by accurately counting and documenting materials as they are received and dispatched.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure materials are delivered to job sites on schedule and in accordance with project requirements.
- Following all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Performing general maintenance tasks on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assisting with other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support overall project operations.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without an accommodation.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, pull, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor, active construction site.
- Prior experience or work in the construction industry is preferred.
