Inventory Materials Handler
JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler is responsible for performing routine warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and issuing materials, parts, supplies, tools, and equipment from the warehouse, storage yard, and stock holding areas. Maintains accurate inventory records through inspection of incoming deliveries against receiving or order documents, issuing and transferring material in an ERP system based on supply requests, and performing cycle counts. Works in a team environment to support the incoming and outgoing processing of supplies and goods dispersed throughout various company departments.JOB FUNCTIONS
- Unload and inspect incoming material and equipment deliveries.

Verify goods received against receiving documents, note and report discrepancies or damages to Lead Receiver or Supervisor.

Maintain accurate inventory records by accurately Issuing and Transferring outgoing stock materials & Performing Cycle Counts through the ERP System.

Perform & Report Cycle Counts, and notify the supervisor of discrepancies.

Pull, stage, and load materials for various department requests, while providing excellent service

Unpack items to be stocked, and store them in an orderly and accessible manner to their assigned locations in warehouses, supply rooms, or storage yards.

Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

Communicate with Supervisor to determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

Examine and inspect stock items, tools, and equipment for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

Provide assistance to other receiving, warehouse, or central inventory personnel.

Operate forklifts, telehandler, pallet jacks, ATVs, and other equipment to unload and move materials.

Modify stock materials to create kits and units ready to be utilized by production crews.

Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines

Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, work areas, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Perform duties safely and report all observed safety hazards to the supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR record

Warehouse or Distribution Experience (Minimum 2 Year)

Forklift or Telehandler Operating Experience Required

Must be able to work well both in a team and independently

Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management software and equipment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to perform medium-level physical work requiring strength, stamina, and mobility.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the workday.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb while performing job duties.

Ability to push, pull, move, lift, and/or carry materials and objects weighing up to 50 lbs without mechanical assistance while complying with OSHA standards.

Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including cold weather during winter and hot weather during summer.
HOURS OF WORK & WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates Monday through Friday with 8–9 hour shifts scheduled between 5:45 AM and 4:30 PM. Overtime may be required during peak seasons and operational demands.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), and moving mechanical equipment.
