Job Purpose Professionally inform, educate and assess perspective patients regarding surgical procedures, treatments and services while successfully closing and scheduling the patient’s surgical procedure.
Job Summary The Patient Care Consultant’s primary objectives are derived on the premise of providing excellent patient experience with the ability to accurately interpret and capture the desired outcome of the individual in the consultation by way of being through, descriptive, and informative, when understanding and assessing patient’s needs. The Patient Care Consultant works closely with both the Surgeon and Practice Manager with the upmost care and understanding when assessing the patient’s needs and or concerns. Recognizes the importance of solid interpersonal, communication skills, and sales aspects, while being conscious concerning the sensitive nature of the individual and or situation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to manage time wisely and is responsible/respectful concerning consultation schedule. Concedes the importance in establishing strong rapport and trust with each consultation conducted, while delivering excellent patient experience Conducts effective and informative patient consultations in order to determine goals and set realistic expectations Correctly understands and assesses the patient needs, medical history, and other eligibility requirements during consultation Works in conjunction with Surgeon to determine best patient results and satisfaction Interacts regularly with patients to ensure best level of service/experience satisfaction Maintains consistent follow-up skills on consultations performed; to include identifying unique ways of communicating, thereby setting Athenix apart from other competitors. Collaborates with Practice Manager to develop and deliver strategic sales tactics, initiatives, resulting in maximum revenue/earning potential Promotes and expands positive on-line review base for the clinic Document all required patient information while maintaining all HIPAA and patient privacy laws Responsible for cleanliness and organizational aspects pertaining to the functionality of the position. Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and use down time efficiently. Maintain an upbeat positive attitude that contributes towards a quality work environment. Regularly attend, participate in, and support training provided in staff meetings. Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of organization and co-workers. Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management and other personnel as may be required. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or patients that require immediate attention. Regular email communication and professional writing skills when communicating with patients. Team player with the ability to produce results on an individual basis and see “big picture” effects on the company as a whole. |

Education and Experience Requirements Minimum High School Diploma. 5-7 years sales experience with documented successful sales record Excellent written, verbal communication skills Outstanding fundamental sales skills Sales in cosmetic surgery or other aesthetic industry Impeccable clean, professional image with a warn demeanor Dynamic team oriented personality Adept with software programs; computer literate to include; Microsoft word, excel, outlook, and other scheduling software.
